Cutting Along the Color Line Author Quincy Mills on Radio and TV

Cutting Along the Color LineListen in and tune in! On Thursday, January 2, Vassar College history professor Quincy Mills will discuss his new book, Cutting Along the Color Line: Black Barbers and Barber Shops in America, in interviews on public radio and national television. Cutting Along the Color Line reveals how black barbers have been a touchstone from slavery through today for important developments in African-American history. At 9:00 am Eastern Standard Time, he will be interviewed for eight minutes on the nationally syndicated cable news program "NewsOne with Roland Martin."  From 1:00-2:00 pm Mills will be the focus of "The Kojo Nnamdi Show", broadcast by 88.5 WAMU-FM public radio in Washington, DC. Both programs are available live and archived online.
