The Al Qaeda FactorFive University of Pennsylvania Press books made Perspectives on Terrorism's list of top books on terrorism and counterterrorism. Mia Bloom's Bombshell: Women and Terrorism, Allison Pargeter's The New Frontiers of Jihad: Radical Islam in Europe, Mitchell D. Silber's The Al Qaeda Factor: Plots Against the West, and two books by Marc Sageman, Understanding Terror Networks and Leaderless Jihad: Terror Networks in the Twenty-First Century, were all chosen by Joshua Sinai of Virginia Tech for the Terrorism Research Intitiative's online bookshelf.
