Penn Press Authors in Eighteenth-Century Studies

Penn Press authors are all over the latest volume of the journal Eighteenth-Century Studies.

Both Kathleen DuVal's The Native Ground: Indians and Colonists in the Heart of the Continent and Laura M. Stevens' The Poor Indians: British Missionaries, Native Americans, and Colonial Sensibility were reviewed in an article entitled "Scholars and Sovereignty: Rethinking Native Studies for a New Decade." The critique was written by none other than Joshua David Bellin, author of Medicine Bundle: Indian Sacred Performance and American Literature, 1824-1932.

Jason Shaffer's Performing Patriotism is also reviewed in the new issue of Eighteenth-Century Studies.
