We at Penn Press are sad to note the loss of one of our authors, J. A. Leo Lemay, Henry Francis du Pont Winterthur Professor of English at the University of Delaware. Recently, Lemay had completed the third volume in a monumental series, The Life of Benjamin Franklin and had begun work on the fourth volume before his death on Wednesday, October 15 at the age of 73.
