It is with great sadness that we share the news that David Jaffee, Penn Press author and noted scholar, has passed away following a struggle with pancreatic cancer. Jaffee was author of A New Nation of Goods: The Material Culture of Early America. He was also Professor of Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture and Director of New Media Studies, both at the Bard Graduate Center.
