A New Penn Press Podcast–Anne Trubek, author of A Skeptic’s Guide to Writers’ Houses

In the latest Penn Press podcast, Anne Trubek of Oberlin College recounts her visits to America's many literary house museums. Trubek shares her insights on sites including Walt Whitman's home in Camden, NJ;  Hannibal, MO, the birthplace of Mark Twain; the Hemingway house in Key West, FL; and Concord, MA, home to Louisa May Alcott and the Mecca of American literary tourism. She also gives her love to the homes of Edith Wharton and Paul Laurence Dunbar.

Trubeks new book is A Skeptic's Guide to Writers' Houses. Her writing has appeared in numerous publications, including the Christian Science Monitor, Mother Jones, American Prospect, and Salon.com.
