Richardson Dilworth
Richardson Dilworth is Professor of Politics and Head of the Department of Politics at Drexel University. He is a coeditor and the managing editor of Urban Affairs Review, editor-in-chief of the Oxford Bibliographies in Urban Studies, and an international corresponding editor for the journal Urban Studies. He is the author of Reforming Philadelphia, 1682-2022 and The Urban Origins of Suburban Autonomy, winner of the annual best book award from the Urban and Local Politics section of the American Political Science Association. He is also the editor or coeditor of nine books, the latest being How Ideas Shape Urban Political Development, coedited with Timothy Weaver; and he is editor of the series Political Lessons from American Cities, published by Temple University Press, and which currently includes six books.
