New York Times City Room Blog looks at Bloom

News of Nicholas Dagen Bloom's talk at a recent New York City Housing Authority gathering made its way into The New York Times City Room Blog. Blogger Manny Fernandez referred to Bloom's, Public Housing That Worked: New York in the Twentieth Century, as "new book sure to find its way onto the bookshelves of managers across the agency."

Mr. Bloom took a historical view of the agency’s recent troubles.
“They’ve had 74 years of bad press and yet, they have fully occupied
buildings,” he said in an interview, adding, “We have to acknowledge
that in spite of issues over the years, we still have I think one of
the best high-rise public housing systems in the country.”
